Camp
Adventure Kicks Off Summer Program |
|

Welcome to another magical summer with Camp
Adventure! This summer, Camp Adventure is pleased to
join forces with our armed forces partners to help
make this the best summer ever for the kids at Camp
Zama and SHA.
This summer there will be plenty of time for fun,
exploration, and amusement. The school age children
(ages 6-9) will be Referred to as Day Camp And their
mascot will be the cow because
2009 is the year of the Cow!
Returning this summer is the Our
Pre-teen Program. Youth ages 10 to 12 will have their
own program which will be supervised by Mr. Nick,
Mrs. Dayana and
one Camp Adventure counselor. Their mascot is the
Dolphin.
Children young and old will enjoy the Camp Adventure
games, songs, and activities. Also, our youth will have
plenty of time to go swimming and bowling. We have
swimming Throughout the week. For Day Camp,
swimming is at Yano pool on Monday, And on
Wednesdays and Fridays the SHA Pool. The pre-teens swim at Yano on
Wednesdays and at SHA on Thursdays.
Don’t forget your sunscreen!
In addition, this summer the School Age Day Camp and
the preteens will have many opportunities to travel
and explore several exciting destinations off post.
This summer we will be traveling to such locations
as; Mt. Fuji, Disneyland, Green Wave Park and
Kanazawa Zoo – just to name a few! |

Meet Your
2009 Camp Adventure Staff |

The 2009 Camp Adventure staff is
thrilled to be volunteering their time this summer
to work with all of the special kids at Camp Zama
SAS.
As in years past, the counselors will be using “Camp
Names” instead of their given names. The 2009 staff
is as follows;

• Ms Gummy Bear
• Ms Twix
